School life
Sometimes, school life is just like not only a prison but also hell to students .
There is either too much stress or sense of failure . In contrast , some students
think of school as a heaven . Because they enjoy studying in school . They can both make new friends and get a sense of achievement in school .
I like to study in school although I sometimes feel disappointed because of my bad
grades .During my bad times in school, I always get either the grades under my prediction
or punishment by my moter. On the other hand , in my good times in school ,
I often get good grades ,good mood and sense of achievement .

ReplyDeleteDo you feel it is fair that your mother punishes you for your grades when they are not good? Do you feel this helps you achieve better? Or do you think grades should be their own reward or punishment? My mother always told me that without good grades, I would not get into a good university and might have trouble if I wanted to do a job later in life that required a degree, but other than that, my grades were up to me. On the other hand, my husband was punished for his grades when they failed. In the end, I think we both probably would not have succeeded any more had our parents taken a different approach, because we didn't lack motivation; our grades had to do with different factors, we didn't need external motivation.

I am sorry that your mother punishes you for your bad grades. This is not a reflection of you who you are as a person. It is a reflection on how your mother was raised by her parents. You are a good person who is doing their very best. You are an intelligent person who will do many wonderful things in this world.
