Janet Hsieh is a Taiwanese American; she was born in Houston, Texas. When Janet was young, her grandmother always spoke to her in Taiwanese, it made she can speak good Taiwanese. Besides, she can speak five languages (English, Mandarin, Taiwanese, Spanish and French).
Janet is an amazing person who has many kinds of special skill . She is good at Taekwondo, Chinese Kung Fu training, making sushi, dancing and play violin. She has played violin since she was 5; she has been to White House and played violin there.
Janet graduated with double major from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has tried lots of different job. For example, she has been a nanny, paramedic, circus clown, sushi chef, intern and model before.
After she graduated, she went back to Taiwan and wanted to know more about her motherland. While she was traveling Taiwan, she found that she can not leave this special island anymore. Now, Janet is a TV host for the Discovery Travel and Living channel. She is famous of her outgoing and friendly personality. Her program called ‘’Fun Taiwan’’, it is a travel program which tell us how wonderful Taiwan is.
